Alicia Keys has premiered the video for her fourth single, Un-Thinkable (I'm Ready). Now I've praised this track pretty much when I reviewed the album, from the vocals to the melody. One other characteristic that I love about Un-Thinkable is its depth, which has been wonderfully emphasized in the video as it takes on interracial love affairs back in its taboo days, and it's pure GENIUS. This is THE ultimate example of Emil Fischer's "lock and key" model, with the song being the enzyme and the video being the substrate. YES Un-Thinkable can pull off a scientific explanation for itself. And YES, it's brilliant. Oh, and Chad Michael Murray is in it.
