Selena Gomez & The Scene has become an ultimate guilty pleasure ever since Naturally hooked me in with its deliciously pop-tastic chorus. A Year Without Rain has Selena venturing into slightly mature dancepop territory whilst keeping her other foot right on the teen pop borderline. The song reminds me of Natasha Bedingfield's Touch at parts (not the half rap verses thankfully). It's a far cry from her Disney image, but it still possesses the same likability factor.
