Two years after the release of their chart-topping self-titled debut album, The Script is back with the first single off the upcoming album Science + Faith. For The First Time doesn't stray away from the sound of The Script LP, and while old fans will instantly warm to the track, it fails to instantly grab you the way that The Man Who Can't Be Moved and Breakeven did. Nonetheless, For The First Time is sonically above average and 'Scriptacular' enough to garner some interest for their sophomore release.
